The interval for Ford oil changes is different depending on when you bought your vehicle and what kind of model you own. Ford Motor Company recommends for vehicles built after 2006 to receive an oil change every 7,500 miles or six months, whichever comes first. If you own a Ford model that was built before 2007, it is best to have the oil changed every 5,000 miles or six months, whichever comes first.
