Ford is dedicated to providing award-winning training to our service techs. To become Ford authorized service techs, they have to complete a rigorous training series with various sections. The Ford service training begins with service technician specialty training through web-based and instructor-led classroom work. This training provides access to the same best-in-class training a Ford dealer uses when working on your Ford model. On-site training is used to gain the first-hand experience using proper equipment and installing parts on a wide variety of vehicles.

Ford Service Department

Students will go over the entire vehicle plus use diagnostic technologies to learn how to locate issues through computer programs. The courses are designed to be specific to a Ford fleet, so each service technician can master all of the skills and techniques required to perform maintenance and repairs on every Ford model. Ford also offers Motorcraft® Service Training to give service techs the opportunity to learn in a smaller environment than a large-scale program. Service technicians also learn diagnosis and repair tips through an entire library of Ford maintenance videos that can be accessed through YouTube.
