2023 Ford F-150

The 2023 F-150 is available in eight trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, Tremor, and Raptor. With most trims, it has a large, oval or rectangular grille with the Ford Blue Oval in the middle. The Raptor uses FORD lettering instead. Standard features include 17-inch wheels, daytime running lights, tinted glass, fog lights, and automatic high beams. You'll also get four cargo tie-down hooks, manually folding side mirrors, and a full-sized spare tire.

You can add on-board scales, lighting for the truck bed, rain-sensing windshield wipers, power running boards, 18-, 20-, or 22-inch wheels, a power tailgate with a work surface and a step, a panoramic sunroof, and chrome accents. Other options include a 5.5-, 6.5-, or 8-foot bed, two front tow hooks, skid plates, and heated auto-dimming side mirrors with memory settings and turn signals.

The 3.3-liter V-6 engine offers 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. You can also choose a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 that gives 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque or a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 that provides 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. A 5.0-liter V-8 that generates 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque and a hybrid, PowerBoost, 3.5-liter V-6 engine with a 35-kilowatt electric motor are also available. The hybrid produces 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque. With all of these options, you'll get a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The F-150 is strong and maneuverable. It can carry up to 3,250 pounds and tow up to 14,000 pounds. Normal, eco, slippery, sport, tow/haul, and trail driving modes are standard. Models with four-wheel drive come with deep snow/sand and mud/rut modes instead of trail mode. The Raptor replaces the trail mode with off-road, Baja, and rock crawl modes. The F-150 also comes with power steering, an independent suspension, and trailer sway control. You can add an integrated trailer brake controller.

The F-150 includes Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, an outdoor temperature display, SiriusXM satellite radio, a 4-inch driver information display, a 12-volt power outlet, and Android Auto. You'll also get folding front and rear seats, a Wi-Fi hotspot, an eight-way power driver's seat, and an 8-inch touchscreen.

You can add dual-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an 8- or 12-inch driver display, push-button start, and a work surface for the front seats. You can select navigation, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, a universal garage door opener, and wireless charging as well. A 640-watt, eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen speaker system and heated leather seats with memory settings are also optional.

This truck has advanced safety features, including a rearview camera, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, forward collision mitigation, electronic stability control, and hill start assistance. You can add lane-keeping assistance, blind spot monitoring, trailer backup assistance, and a 360-degree camera system. Other options include active driving assistance and parking assistance.
