We believe that there is nothing more enriching than supporting the various organizations in our community. That is why the team at your Mercer PA Ford destination is happy to announce that we partnered with the United Way of Mercer County (UWMC) for the month of September. This amazing organization uses local programming designed to “offer hope, opportunities, and resources that change lives and enrich futures.” The programs target three essential areas — Education, Self-Sufficiency, and Health — and include financial literacy programs, running the local 21st Century Community Learning Center to better assist the growth of our students, and collaborating with social service providers on “Stamp Out Stigma” initiatives to promote mental illness awareness.

Naturally, the staff at Bill McCandless Ford wants to do whatever we can for this incredible organization, which is why we donated $50 to UWMC for every Ford car, truck, SUV, or used vehicle we sold in September, bringing the total to $4,400 between Bill McCandless Ford and McCandless Ford Meadville! We believe that the UWMC is doing a fantastic job for our local community and encourage our customers to assist us in promoting these philanthropic efforts.
